On December 5, 2015, the National Ordinance Actualization and Harmonization Supervision Ordinances Centrale Bank van Curaçao en Sint Maarten (N.G. 2015, no. 67) was enacted. This brought along changes in several national ordinances and is the legal basis for the Bank to perform conduct of business supervision. The Bank’s conduct of business supervision is aimed primarily at ensuring orderly and transparent financial market processes, proper relationships between market participants and the exercise of due care by financial institutions in dealing with clients.
