Supervision is aimed at promoting financial soundness and the proper handling of customers. The CBCS also ensures that institutions comply with their obligations related to the prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing through the financial sectors in Curaçao and Sint Maarten. Our supervisory activities are guided by our new Style of Supervision which is focused and intrusive.
This supervision is pursued mainly through the Bank’s analysis of the solvency and liquidity development of these institutions.
